2. AST INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM COMPETITION 2021 – on Behalf of FATİH TERZİOGLU

Advocates of Silenced Turkey is organizing the 2nd Short film Competition to develop awareness of unjust practices; to develop individuals in short film making; to reflect aesthetic skills in filmmaking; to be able to present the message clearly to the audience; to contribute to the formation of habit and taste in engaging in artistic activities.

The subject is “INNOCENCE – INNOCENCY” as part of human rights violations What is experienced within the scope of human rights violations and victimizations in Turkey and other countries of the world. Covers sub-topics such as political prisoners, torture, deprivation of basic human rights, etc., including innocent women, infants and seniors in prisons.

FIRST WOMEN’S RIGHTS ADVOCACY INTERNSHIP

AST’s first internship program is designed to introduce college students to contemporary women’s rights issues in Turkey. This internship is a great opportunity to develop your research and academic writing skills as you work towards publishing a paper for AST under your own name. Guided by AST, you will have the benefit of scheduling your own work in the comfort of your home as you do research and conduct interviews.

“INNOCENCE – INNOCENCY” as part of human rights violations What is experienced within the scope of human rights violations and victimizations in Turkey and other countries of the world.
AST organizes a short film competition to develop an awareness of unjust practices. This Competition covers sub-topics such as political prisoners, torture, deprivation of basic human rights, etc., including innocent women, infants, and seniors in prisons.
