Advocates of Silenced Turkey (AST) organizes the International Poetry Contest to raise global awareness of the ongoing human rights violations in Turkey through the transformative power of poetry.

The contest theme is:

“Poems Depicting Human Rights Violations in Turkey”

The goal is to ensure that victims are not forgotten, and that their pain, resilience, and hope are shared with broader audiences worldwide.
