UN Decision on Arbitrary Detention – Akın Öztürk Case

This document is an official opinion adopted by the United Nations Working Group on Arbitrary Detention. It concludes that the detention of Akin Öztürk is arbitrary and violates international human rights law, including the ICCPR, and calls on Türkiye to release him and provide reparations.
