2nd AST International Short Film Competition 2021 – On Behalf of Fatih Terzioglu
On October 30, 2021, Advocates of Silenced Turkey (AST) hosted its second international short film competition with the theme “Innocence.”
The contest aimed to raise awareness about human rights violations through the power of cinema, encouraging filmmakers to combine artistic expression with justice advocacy.

Political prisoners
Torture
Deprivation of basic rights
Women, babies, and the elderly in prisons
Awards:
1st Place – $3,000
2nd Place – $2,000
3rd Place – $1,000
The top 10 films were showcased on AST’s YouTube channel, giving a voice to those silenced by oppression.
